The Parthenon and the Greek mythology surrounding it lent itself as a muse for the writing of Monuments. It’s about love. Structures can be built to symbolise love and to remember someone by. However, over time these physical structures can be torn down and worn down by humans and the elements of nature. If this love can live on through, and be remembered by, the memories left to someone, then these memories can serve to be the most powerful monuments to build.
